Mozart Mass in C minor

We open our new season with Mozart’s extraordinary Mass in C minor – by turns lyrical, passionate and profound, it is a real showcase for the choir as well as requiring remarkable virtuosity from the soloists. The concert begins with four short works by Mozart and Haydn – including his dramatic motet Insanae et vanae curae.

The Tatton Singers

The Tatton Singers are a (SATB) mixed community choir based in Knutsford, Cheshire, with a tradition of presenting quality concerts of choral music. Formed in 1976, Tatton Singers are now a well-balanced choir of some seventy-six voices and have a reputation for dynamic music making. Weekly rehearsals enable this friendly choir to successfully present exciting and demanding works. Tatton Singers perform traditional choral works whilst also staging lesser known pieces.
