John Collins Firework Display This year, due to the Bank Holiday falling before May Day, the Grand Firework Display will take place on Sunday 7th May 2023. The date of this year's firework display has yet to be confirmed.   The annual Grand Fireworks Display is provided by the kindness of John Collin’s Funfairs, to celebrate the Knutsford ‘Royal’ May Day.  The display usually takes place on the Sunday, after May Day and at dusk on Knutsford Heath.
